Permanent Staffing The Annex Permanent Staffing (APS) division places IT employees ranging from junior Help Desk Analysts to CIOs. All placements are done on a contingency basis, meaning there is no charge to you unless a candidate is hired. Annex’s placement fees are lower than the national recruitment firms. Contract Services When staffing your project, Annex hand-picks resources from the Annex Alliance, our consortium of over 7,300 independent IT and business consultants in British Columbia. We provide staff augmentation services (i.e., single contractor fulfilling a specific need) as well as outsourcing services for multi-person projects (i.e., we can take on an entire project from beginning to end). Pass-through Services Pass-through services means that a consultant with an existing client relationship is “passed through” Annex to that customer. Benefits of this service include: Insurance coverage – All independent consultants passing through Annex are covered by $2-million Common General Liability and $2-million Professional Liability insurance. Single point of contact – Annex is your single point of contact for contract administration and billing for independent consultants. You are relieved of the burden of dealing with billing and contract administration questions and issues from the consultants. Consistency – You get the same standard invoice and timesheet for all independent consultants in the pass-through program. Cost-effective – Annex fees are the lowest in BC for incorporated consultants. National recruiting firms typically charge double our rate; up to $8/hour for the same service. Annex Learning Centre The Annex Learning Centre is the only training organization in British Columbia with an exclusive focus on Project Management training.
