HSBC Bank Canada – IT Department, Vancouver, BC & Toronto, ON
HSBC IT develops and supports a variety of banking systems through six
teams: Head Office & Subsidiary Systems; Branches & Service Centres;
Technical Services & Infrastructure; E-Business & Direct Banking; North
American Retail Securities; Technology & Planning.
Software House – Burnaby, BC
Software House is a team of cross-functional professionals from across the
HSBC organization that collaborate with customers, partners, and regional IT
staff on the local level to provide flexible banking solutions and services
where they are needed most. Software House delivers fully integrated, highly
efficient innovative solutions that enable HSBC to remain on the leading
edge in the development and delivery of high quality banking systems. The
teams design, develop, test and maintain electronic global banking systems,
seeing projects through the entire development lifecycle. The teams also
play a key development role for the HSBC Universal Banking (HUB) System,
which is an integrated package of application systems covering personal,
corporate and commercial and financial reporting. Widely implemented in
over 60 countries in the HSBC Group, HUB offers front-end services using
browser-based technology interfaced to robust transaction processing
capabilities at the back end. |
